Good luck to you all .
I shall be safely tucked in my bed at some of those early hours that you're all talking about, but I'll log on after I get up to see how you all get on. Really impressed at your energy, enthusiasm and all that

So Vitalstatistix??? How did it go? Enjoyed it??
It was such a great morning, enjoyed the sun... Then once I finished, it went all grey n cold So did not hang about much at all...
I've enjoyed my afternoon eating n drink (WATER!!) in the sun on a café terrace...
Oh yeah, my time... I did a nice little 1hour, 52minutes & 32 seconds...
Thanks you all for your kind words... Next one is at the end of the month... ADRA Charity Half Marathon in Mission Bay

Well done Matewx - fantastic time!
I just missed one hour on my quarter marathon - 1hr 54 secs
But I did finish 21st out of 224 women in my age group. So I'm pretty happy with that given I only started running 7 weeks ago.
I may pop myself in for ADRAs 10km too
And as matewx says, thanks to all those who wished us good luck. Now where is that bar of chocolate

Well done you two
I managed 01.35.56 which given that I did no training whatsoever wasn't too bad. The knee started to give way at approx 6km but kept on going. At least I've learned something new today: I can't drink water out of a cup & walk at the same time. I looked like I'd entered a wet T-shirt competition Thank goodness the T-shirts were red!
We hung around for a short while & got home around 11.30am. I read a book & then had a snooze. Then headed into the spa pool & a takeaway curry for tea Bed soon methinks.
Anyone else covered in blisters?
Thanks to all for their good wishes xxx
