Apple TV

Any thoughts re Apple TV, thinking of getting the box to access the FREE lightbox that is being offered by SPARK. Plus also to use with ipad for playing games, looking at home videos; you tube etc.
Is it worth it or should I save my money. Any thoughts?

Can't comment on game playing, however, we bought our AppleTV over from the UK, currently holds about 2000 photos and over 4000 tunes, not even used 25% of the memory. Good for downloading music onto. Approx 5 years old but still works well.

Apple TV is outstanding, but like most things Apple, it works best when you buy content from Apple.

You can also buy a full HD Android TV box for about half the price of an Apple TV, and like any smartphone, the free TV / Music / Skype / Maps etc apps are numerous and a doddle to install.
