The singing ringing tree was Acid for kids!
What fun it was to be a kid in the sixties
We, (sixties kids), spend most of formative time viewing these foreign offerings - is it no wonder we all turned out like we did

I remember "Flashing Blade", also "White Horses" which I have unsuccessful searched for, I think the English dub has been lost for almost all episodes. I'd like my daughter to see it, I think she would live it

There was also a programme called 'Yao' about a boy in Africa. the fascinating thing to me was the drumming on the title sequence (can't find it on Youtube).

Re: Anyone remember "The Flashing Blade"
seeing as we are tripping down the memory lane, anyone remember the 'service info's' they used to show on the every early BBC2 during the daytime?
They lasted about 20-25 minutes and were on about 6 times during the morning/afternoon. They were a sort of travel documentary. I think they were in colour, (BBC2 being the first to broadcast in colour), and were mainly broadcast for TV installers (it gave them something to watch so they could set balance/colour/contrast).
Don't know if they exist on you tube
