Anyone regrretted?
I asked the same on the Aussie-forum and I'm gonna ask you too. Namely, are here any British expats who have moved to NZ and have regretted their decision to do so? After all, moving from one country to another is always a serious decision to be made but apparently, there are always people who make decisions very lightly and then regret.
The ring of the alarm-clock sounds just as nasty in NZ as it does in the UK. All other things in life remain very much the same. People who move from a country like the UK might also be shocked at the size of the country. NZ is really small and there are vast spaces around with no-one around. Compared to the UK it is a slow country, which may be difficult for some people to come to termswith. The question:Has anyone regretted moving to NZ? |

Re: Anyone regrretted?
could be a silly question mate:)
sounds like you love to hear from us We do regret now sorry but we don't. It doesn't mean we don't love the u.k either I do love both the u.k/nz and am more than happy to go back to the u.k at any time |
Re: Anyone regrretted?
I've been away from the UK for a looong time now and could never go back there to live. If anything, I miss France a bit, but not enough to move back there either. Don't miss the USA one jot. :D (sorry happy!)

The question:Has anyone regretted moving to NZ? Nope, not for one moment. Wouldn't rule out a move back to the UK at some stage if that was the way life took us or indeed a move to another country but the foreseeable future for us is in New Zealand where we are better off in so many ways....... Wish we'd made made the move a while ago......... |
