Anyone in Rangiora/Rolleston/Christchurch to Help With Research Project ?
National Centre for Research on Europe: United Kingdom emigrant to NZ
Hi all,
The National Centre for Research on Europe is seeking participants for a research project on United Kingdom emigrants to New Zealand. Participants will be asked to take part in a 1-2 hour interview, probing details such as emigration factors and life in New Zealand.
We are looking for individuals who have arrived since 1st January 2005 on work/study visas.
Participants will be reimbursed for their time with a $25 petrol voucher or book voucher (their choice).

Hi Thomas,are you only interested in hearing from people on work/study visas? Will the interview be by phone/internet/ in person?
I post these questions here rather than to you privately as I figure peeps here would have similar q's.

yes we are primarily looking for people who emigrated here with the intent of working or studying, it may be the case that you did not arrive with one of these visas but we may still be interested in talking with you. As for the interviews, they need to be face to face so ideally any applicants would be living in Christchurch/Canterbury as it is only a pilot project. However I am willing to travel some distance within Canterbury for an interview if necessary.
I just realised this afternoon that I should have mentioned Canterbury in the first post
