Thanks for your reply, I'm sorry I wasn't able to carry on talking to you earlier - I was disconnected from the internet and then had to go out.

How long have you been living in NZ & what's it like in Nelson? We're thinking of moving to the South Island but we're not quite sure where yet!

Have you any regrets about moving over there, as Gloucestershire seems a beautiful place to leave - coincidently, we will be going on holiday to Gloucestershire later this year!

Are you there as a family? How easy did you find the Visa application process? Did you have to wait long for your shipment of belongings to arrive?

We like semi-rural places; to help us with our search, are there any places you think we should avoid looking at, and also are there any places you would recommend to us?

Hope you don't mind all the questions ;) - we've got plenty more if you don't mind us asking you!

Do you know if you get good value for money for property in NZ?
Where would you say are the nicest semi-rural areas not too far from the sea on the South Island?
