Anyone with a musical bent?
Just picked up a ukulele that has been in the cupboard for a couple of years, I'm thinking of getting down with my uke!
I also play(ish) the Northumberland pipes, although I haven't picked them up since I have been farting around with this immigration lark

Been dabbling with the clarinet for years.
Not played for a while, you're right, immigration plays havoc with any good intentions...
Nothumberland pipes eh. I'm from Durham, there doesn't seem to be many others from the NE on here

Be very careful Ned.I picked one up two years ago.Iv'e got five of them now.My favorite is a Resonator( like the shiny guitar off Dire Straits Album).I play a mean version of Live and Let Die.I don't do any George Formby or Tiny Tim.Although I do sing Roxanne(Sting) to the tune of Tiptoe Through the Tulips.Try it .it's a laugh.

Ned, get those pipes out and get playing Go on wake up the neighbours
Time for bed now, appointment with solicitor early tomorrow. Immigration stuff stopping me having a decent lie in now!
Where are all those musicians out there? Can we start a NZ forum band

Re: Anyone with a musical bent?
Of course I prefer the bag pipes.
I play the guit and keyboards. Had my own studio for a few years, still got most of the kit, set up in my garage and still write but with a five year old not a`lot of spare time.
Managed to get some new strings for my acoustic and electric in Scotland ( there in Jan) and just need to get my A into G and change put the new Elixars on. For some reason couldn't get them here in NZ and crazy prices on e-bay. 10 squid in UK
I'm rambling
Keep making music mate

If you enjoy the ukulele (ukulele in the Hawaiian language means jumping flea by the way, uku - flea, lele - jump) you may want to get some recordings by Jake Shimabukuro, a ukulele wonder. Highly recommended.

Hubby is musical, he's off to band practice (all-day) in a few. You should get together once you're over. He's a guitarist.
