Anyone around for a meet up? Maybe food and a few beers?
 

Hi guys,
I'm in Auckland checking the place out, with a view to relocating. Anyway it's the weekend and I know no one, bar potential work colleagues, but their busy over the Easter break so if anyone out there is also at a loose end in Auckland area, I'm staying in Mount Albert but have transport - then maybe good to hang out for a bit on Saturday. I'm 36 and easy going.

And no cant sleep!! Still adjusting!! :-/

Thanks Ifcan! That's great... I'm currently still trying to negotiate relocation package but getting there. I'm sure I will take you up on that in the near future! How's it going for you guys?? Where abouts have you relocated to and how re you finding the whole experience??

Hi Phil... We moved over at end of feb, I transferred within my company so I have a 30 months work visa and my husband has the same. We stayed with my uncle for 3 weeks until we found our current two bed in mangere bridge, up nd coming area, if you have a choice on where they relocate you make sure you find out about area there are complete no go areas but I can try help you. We are really pleased with how we got on, one thing that would help would be making some friends. Pm me if you need any durther advise
