Any pubs in Auckland with a reasonably priced pint?
It seems wherever I go for a beer it's a complete rip off, $8+ a pint (usually smaller measure) is way more than anywhere else I've been in the world apart from Singapore. I found a bar in Hamilton last Sept that had reasonable beer prices, think it was about $5.60 a pint, but Auckland is proving very expensive for a few swift halves.

8 bucks for a pint of british beer is about normal.
Try speakers corner in browns bay auck, they have 7 brit beers on tap.

When I say beer I mean anything on tap. I've actually been to Speakers Corner up in Little Britain, my mate who's a comedian is one of the locals as he's from Benidorm Bay.

I spotted the Henderson one this morning whilst I was on the train, I'm going to go join this week.
As much as I slate Rugby (don't take it all serious) I'll probably enjoy a few matches down there with a few jars.
I'm all out of sorts not having a local.

Thats something we havent had time to do yet... grab some beers in the city, or elsewhere... having a 5yr old and no childminders don't help though!
We're moving out to Glen Eden/Titirangi in the next three weeks... we should catch up for a beer one day!

Rick I'd love to meet for a beer.
Ive contacted the Council and given them photo's I took of the dog and where the owner lives. I've told them I want action, if they don't do anything I'm going to contact the RNZSPCA. We had to take our dog to the vets today as his ear is a mess from the attack, cost us 100 bucks.
