Any Over 40 yr old goalkeepers out there ?
 

Hello all,

An 11-a-side football team that I play for on North Shore is looking for a goaly as the (previous) number 1 keeper broke his hand during the summer .......and hasnt been seen since :thumbdown:

The team is a mix of kiwis and expats.

Is there anyone out there who has goalkeeping experience interested at playing (nearly) every saturday from the middle of april till september? Training is tuesday nights at shepherds park in beach haven from 6-7pm.

I've not played in donkeys years and I'm guessing you want someone who's got some idea of what they are doing
otherwise I'd have given it a go

If you fancy just coming down for a kick around tomorrow and see how it goes. No promises of course. We're not looking for someone who is peter schmeichal but at the same time one must hold their own :thumbsup:

The older I get the better I was, springs to mind,
would probably be more of a liability now so will give it a miss,
