Naiome. this is not a heavily populated part of NZ.
Weather is pretty good by most standards, but the place has its ups and downs.
It would be far too remote for me, but it does depend on your desired lifestyle and the amount of money you have.
Hastings depresses the hell out of me to be honest, Havelock North is far more likely to be acceptable.
