My OH can not stand the Countdown soap opera ones. Me, it's the woman from Briscoes - she annoys me no end.

Re: annoying adverts
The guy on the Lighting Plus adverts, I could punch him for no reason at all but
I'd be afraid I might not be able to stop once I started
The Mad Butcher is very annoying (albeit on the radio)
The singing people on the State insurance ad (aint nothing gonna break my stride)
Not like these classics ay !!

I like the Briscoes adverts and the Briscoes lady ! In fact, I want to be the Briscoes lady !
Lily from Big Gob furniture can shut up. Healtheries and Health diary adverts get on my nerves.
The bloke on the radio advert telling me about his healthy erection at 7.28am and again at 7.58am is just to much ! (It's an advert for herbal viagra of some sort and also something called rainforest herbs for women experiencing vaginal dryness...oh purleese). You can tell it's an A.M. station for the over sixties ! No problem with these products I just find it disconcerting to have a bloke telling me about his healthy erection !
Have you had your Inner Health Plus today ? Could that squeaky voice be more irritating.
Can the Tony's Tyre service chorus learn to sing in tune please ?
I don't mind the Lighting Plus bloke. Mad Butcher radio adverts are a bit to full on for me.
I don't mind the mini-soap opera Countdown adverts. OK, not the Oxo family but does anyone remember the Gold Blend couple ? Sharon Maughan and Tony Head ?
The State Insurance adverts are a clever use of words albeit to a tired old tune.

Re: annoying adverts
Briscoes woman is the most anoying person of all time, even more annoying than shogun bloke. Their sister store Rebel Sport seem to get it far better their theme tune is stuck in my head...but at least though the Briscoes bloke is far less annoying and we hear from him a little.
Hate the long long boring ads they put into real progs late at night. Put infomercials where they belong, at times that no one watches TV!
Hate that ads often have nothing between them and the progs so you don't know what is on when it goes to the ad. But at least they always seem to follow the same format --- general ads, ad for another prog on same channel, back to the prog --- great for fast forwarding through the ads.

Re: annoying adverts
There are so many to choose but those Big save furniture/Harvey Norman type shouting adds always annoy me because it's like they couldn't even be bothered. Even companies that clearly do spend money get it wrong, look at those insurance adverts for Tower and the smug man on ANZ adverts. Actually TVNZ should take a hand in quality control, having adverts like the Genesis one in the same slot as a Harvey Norman advert ruins the effect of the former.
I actually love really good advertising but it seems rare I see something that really makes me think "I want that product". Something that creates an itch for a new product than needs to be scratched or makes me feel a nostalgic connection for a product even if it never existed.

Re: annoying adverts
There's another guy I'd happily see get a pasting, the stilted Rob Brydon look-a-like that does the Sky TV ads.
FFS no expense spared with the tens of dollars advertising budgets some of these companies must have - amateurs!
