Do you guys know why they get you to do the "brace, brace" position (with your head between your knees) in the event of an accident? ............ I do and its not a pleasant thought!

Popular myth believe its so your teeth are still intact so they can identify you from your dental records...assuming you have been to the dentist recently of course...

I think its more likely that said position affords you more protection to the area where most of us have our brains stored.

I thought it was because you are more likely to be killed, airlines have to pay more compensation to survivors than to the dead .

You have to watch it more than once to get some of the more humorous lines...like ....your nearest exit might be behind you.

Is it true it's body paint??
Airline with nothing to hide
A national airline has adopted a cheeky way to encourage passengers to watch its in-flight safety video: The cabin crew's uniforms are nothing but body paint.
The "Bare Essentials of Safety", screening in the cabins of planes flying Air New Zealand's main domestic routes, has now gone online and has been seen by millions on YouTube.
In the video, three cabin staff and a pilot, all in full body paint applied to look like their uniforms, talk viewers through the aircraft's safety procedures.
