Hello

I am having 110 points as per NZ points calculator ,have 8 months NZ experience and currently working out of NZ now, my skill fall in Long term skill shortage , shall I proceed further to file my EOI?

In a word...no you do not meet the points threshold of 160......their are other visa routes for example the talent (accredited employer)

Please make yourself familiar with the new visa criteria. As Ink has pointed out minimum points is now 160, at least until next year. There are other changes also, see link about visa changes as it's kept up to date with immigration changes.

Above link says minimum points have recently updated? Need to confirm it.

There's nothing to check you have been given correct information and wasting your time and money going with EOI, if you only have 110 points. You probably will need to find a job in order to get more points.

Skilled Migrant Category clearly states in point to note that; "Currently, we are only selecting EOIs with 160 points or above."

How do you only score 110 if you are in NZ now with a job and 8 months NZ experience ?
