Re: Advent Calenders
Blimey ! I belong to a craft group & I'm not at all sure I could fashion an advent calender before Xmas 2012
I've not seen much in the way of advent calendars & mostly it's the same one in all the shops here.
Perhaps try some of the on-line stores. I've read on here that some folks order things like that from Marks & Spencer
..... goodness me. I've just looked at the M&S site for the first time ever. There are some lovely items . No doubt about that.

Re: Advent Calenders
We bought Cadbury's ones in Kmart as my kids don't like the chocolate in the cheaper ones you find in the supermarket Kmart had ordinary Cadbury chocolate or Freddo chocolate ones. My youngest was quite surprised when I told him we didn't have chocolate in ones when we were young, he thought the idea of just having a picture was "rubbish"!

Re: Advent Calenders
I prefer the ones without chocolate, having grown up with pictures. Still can't find one I like though
Have got one from Hell but not opened it yet. I shall report back

My husband prefers the ones with the chocolate. We don't have a KMart in this area and I'm still in the dark about what Freddo is.

As opposed to a fish then.
I only do dark chocolate really and a bar could last me months.
Husband on the other hand can do a bar of choc in a few minutes.

Yes, but you're cheating by being in the UK!!!!
If you want to see what a Freddo looks like do a google images search.
