I normally wouldn’t post this kind of thing – not even sure it would be considered advertising…but for those of you moving to NZ in the near future, many flats and houses (in Wellington at least) are becoming available with all the flatmates moving out. Keep an eye on trademe – not just the property for rent, but also flatmates wanted part of the site. The lease on these places generally run to February so as a short term option it might be doable.

They are generally unfurnished so it might require a quick trip to the Warehouse….but it may be worth it.

As an example, this one is a place in Newtown (ie near the hospital) – two bed for $300 a week:
