6 Months In Already - Where's the time gone?!
It really doesn't seem that long ago that we first found this site, and I was asking about what to bring, which movers to use, where to live etc.
And now we've been here for six months already!
We can't quite believe it, as the time has gone just sooooo quickly. We've had ups and downs, we've bought land, we've got work, a car, a flat, we live in a great place, we're getting to know people, and overall are very happy with the move so far. Good eh?
The path ahead is still a steep one, but we've got the energy to keep on climbing, and we know that the view from the top will be well worth all the effort.
Keep on dreaming people.

That was the original reason for the purchase, with the second reason to buy as an investment - although with interest rates where they are now just bunging it in a bank would have also been a safe bet!

That really has gone quick!! Tell me about it.... we have been here for over 2 years now!! .... and my little bubba is now 6 months old!! Times going wayyyyy too quickly... at this rate I'll be an OAP soon!!

I can't beleive how much you two have done already in the time you've been here
And I know that you both say on your blog that you suffer with terrible homsickness at times ( who doesn't !) but you would never guess from your postings; they are always upbeat & optomistic. Long may it last, you deserve it just for your attitude towards this whole experience

Congratulations you two... we can't wait 'til we hit a milestone like that! Although its looking very positive at the mo Our kids started school today and loved it, number two son is going to meet the All Blacks at the Jade Stadium tomorrow, part of a school trip (not that cool at home are they)... xx

Congratulations and thanks for showing us still in the UK that it is possible!
I'm rather keen to get our there ASAP, especially after reading your blog. If I could drop a dress size or two after six months in NZ, I would definitely think the move was worthwhile!

We still can't get over how many people read the blog, we have no counter but thought it was only family and a few friends in England!
