6.3 quake reported in Christchurch?

Re: 6.3 quake reported in Christchurch?
The damage looks worse than on Sept 4th.
I hope there are no deaths or serious injuries but I am doubtful looking at the news.
I am having difficulty even recognising some areas of the centre. Horrible hearing how shaky all the TV reporters sound but quite understandable. Strange to feel another aftershock and then see it mentioned whilst it's going on on the news
It is making me not want to live here any more- there has been so many aftershocks for the last few months and there is no way of predicting them

Hoping all in CHC are keeping safe and update us when they are able. News footage is terrifying...

Seems like I'm the only one on here at the moment but most areas appear to be without power so hopefully are just not able to reassure us that they are ok.
I'm not surprised there has been more damage, it felt huge due to it being more shallow than the 7.1. It nearly knocked me over when it happened. House is fine though stuff all over the floor again.
Sounds like there's been damage to the airport and surroundings, I live near there and work just down the road. Think I've been lucky

Looks absolutely terrible on the news. Very sad to hear that there appears to be multiple fatalaties. Appears to be people trapped in the Cathedral too.
Thinking of everyone down there. Keep safe.

I hope you're all ok. Spoke to my friend down there and she was trying to get home and terribly upset. Quite graphic footage on the TV.

Phone lines out of Auckland are busy. Presume the rest of the Country is the same.

Oh hell, just had another big one-the ground is still shaking. Just watched the whole house shake like it's made of jelly.
