I was looking through these images this morning and sighing mightily and wistfully. We're still working away on our escape to NZ plan and it helped remind me what the grand adventure is all about whilst up to my armpits in retraining, work stress and house hassles.

Unbelievable! So many opportunities missed

53 photos, comments on wildlife yet nothing about how fantastic it is to park your car by the location where the battle scene was filmed in Narnia - and to be welcomed by Kea parrots!

Also, no mention of we are the only nation that puts cheese in every single pie going??? Steak and cheese, mince and cheese, rabbit and cheese, even celery and cheese pies :)

Finally, where else could you have a stunning mega sea sick crossing like the cook strait on the Pride of Cherbourg. Or experience common cross wind landings like you do at Wellington airport. Unique experiences that cause panic in other places, yet here - pah that's nothing!

Sack the creator of this. Not even his/her photo of highway 71 heading towards Mount Hutt can save him/her at the end :lol:
