Hello - I am a 49 year old Bristolian, now living in Torbay, Auckland looking to connect with cultured British ex-pats,...

I work as a psychic clairvoyant medium / inner child therapist / spiritual teacher, and sing opera lessons, and am a retired professional ballet dancer (Straight!)...

But I have been bored at home this winter and have got stuck into a social rut... of not going out, at all...

I do get homesick, and meet plenty of English people locally in Browns Bay where I live, which is a bonus...

I may join a walkers group - and am learning self-taught men's tailoring...

I never go to the pub (don't drink) and am therefore, a rather pure soul, but still love to have fun - adore "Marina and the Diamonds" and Adele..

Hope to chat with sincere Brits and see what develops... just like-minded sincere connections - not dating per say... but open minded... not uptight or religious necessarily...

I'm quite sure that there must be herds of clairvoyant inner child minders, who screech as they leap in their NON HOMOSEXUAL dance routines.

How intresting I live in Torbay have you looked into joining a spiritulist organisation? My Mum was very into this in the UK something I dipped in and out of and have not had the courage since she died 13 years ago happy to meet sometime for Coffee although I work full time

You must be like a duck out of water in Benidorm Bay surrounded with people wearing Man Utd and Chelsea shirts.

On the other hand, my mate is organising a Karaoke competition at the cultural hotspot 'Speakers Corner' called 'Speakers Got Talent', so you might want to pop along!

This might be the most cultural option in Benidorm Bay, unless they have Morris Dancers again next St Georges Day.

I can recommend http://www.meetup.com in Auckland - diverse choice of activities and plenty of Poms in most of the groups - also, as you're a single guy, you'll find plenty of attractive (and single) Kiwi women in some of the groups. As a bonus most Kiwi females (at least the ones I've met) don't seem have that '...because I'm worth it' attitude so prevalent in certtain other parts of the world.

Also - have you thought of taking up golf? Some great clubs around Auckland for not a lot of money (Redwood, Murawai, Waitakerie) and the ones that don't charge the earth tend to be very friendly.

Kareoke would be good - I am a singing student...

I dont think I would be any good at golf - tried "Croquet" and loved it - but like choir - it is mostly frequented by the elderly - ho hum...

difficult to see why youre single,id love to meet up but having said that,i would go out tonight but i havent got a stitch to wear.
