24year old female from machester moving to auckland 5th jan!!
Hi there,
I move over next week (fly from heathrow on 3rd jan and get to auckland 5th jan). I have just received my 3year visa and will be working in newmarket as of 13th jan (have a week to explore before i start). I'm excited but a little scared as i am leaving all my friends and family in manchester. I hope to meet some new friends and im glad to hear its not just me thats in this position.
I need to meet some friends or my social life will be non existant. I am 24years old, very independant, a girly girl, likes to go for a couple of glasses of wine at a weekend / nice meal but relax in the week with a dvd or have a good chat. I like a quiet week with wrk, wouldnt say im a big party person who comes in waking everyone up but very sociable and friendly. I love shopping, makeup, nice clothes, going to the pictures and meeting new people.
would be nice to hear from you.

Hi Rach
My name is Kim i am 20 in april and hopefully coming to Auckland in September. Me and my boyfriend are about to send our Application for residency.
We will probably be working in New Market at the Audi garage. It would be nice to keep in touch as we will have no friends either!
I have similar interests as you. I love going to the cinema and shopping and not a big party person, probably because i work such long hours over here. Cant wait to get over there to have a better lifestyle.
I bringing my dog cleo. she is a black and white staffie who is gorgeous!
Have you got any idea where you are going to live yet? We were in Auckland this time last year in the sunshine! My mum and dad have got friends in Devonport, which is very nice.
Hope you have a great flight saturday lots of luck and let us know how you get on.

I will be in a hotel for the first couple week but going to look at a house in greenlane, ponsonby and parnell. I want to share for a while to make some friends.
Aww thats nice that your bringing your dog, i want to get a tea cup terrier - they are sooo cute and so tiny.
So scared about ths 26hr flight on my own at the weekend, i hope it all goes to plan with no delays.

Hi
What route are you taking to Auckland? We flew Air New Zealand via LA. The plane was very comfy, lots of films to watch and everyone was very friendly. However LA airport was a bit of a nightmare, with people yelling at you and taking your fingerprints and scanning your eyes!! A bit of a shock when u r knackered! A big difference when we got to Auckland and everyone was SO friendly! Its a long journey but most people say they are so tired by the time they actually get on the plane to emigrate that they have a good old sleep!!
My mum knows people in Ponsonby and Parnell and it is very nice there.
Send me a PM if u want or msn me on my link.

Hi
I hope your move went ok and you are settling in ok!
I am living in Pukekohe just south of Auckland, I moved here to be with my boyfriend and am struggling to meet other people as I am finding it difficult to find employment.
I also enjoy socialising and chilling, if you would like to meet up for a coffee sometime that would be cool.
Ruth.
