Someone at Statistics New Zealand stuffed up the inflation numbers, should have been 0.3% not 0.2% which makes an OCR cut less likely.

Just like this thread... the madness is still going on in Auckland! Can't believe the average "house" price (large shed to some of us) is now over 1 Million NZD.

I hear a crash in planned in following the US election, regardless of who gets in.

Thank goodness I bought in 2014 - my house is now worth about 200,000 more than it was then. Ridiculous.

Good little inflation boost over the last couple of quarters, now at 2.2% which is within target so, if persistent, gives the Reserve Bank options as to what they'd like to do with rates. This may start to get priced into mortgages going forwards.
