I'm slightly biased by the fact that every time I have to talk to someone in Wellington they are a government employee or they work with government employees. There's a certain way of thinking that tries my patience. I'm guessing you get it around Westminster too.

I'm biased by the fact that we went there and I found it claustrophobic. From the adverts on telly I actually believed that the shopping was going to be great. What a silly sausage I am :nod:. I couldn't wait to head back to Auckland.
NB. I always remember now that the only decent shopping in NZ is to be done in Australia :sneaky: |

I used to enjoy the electric buses in Wellington, they have a switch rather than an accelerator and brake pedal.

My one lasting memory of a trip there in February (during the best summer that wellington has ever had) that the women were still mostly wearing their standard uniform of thick black tights and boots. :rofl:
