Next Girls' Night in Enschede (NL) on May 10th
The next girls' night of the 'International Womens' Group in Enschede' will be on Wednesday 10 May at 8 pm at Le Monde (the big table near the window).
More about us:
We are a small bunch of new friends from all around the globe with equally international partners and friends. Most of us are 30-somethings and working. Some about to cross into 40. Some 20-somethings, studying or completing PhD's. Some married and with children, or a 'bun in the oven', others not, or not yet. We are a very diverse and colourful group. We all would love to have more friends, and therefore, more fun.
Even after years in Enschede, it remains hard to make local friends in this region. So we ended up finding each other and 'do the expat thing', though some of us are actually Dutch.
Enschede it not exactly Amsterdam. Places to meet are more limited once you are no longer 'hitting the pubs every night' or playing a team sport. Apart from that, most of us are surrounded by a very 'male oriented culture' and would love to have more female friends. A bit more girlie talk here and there, the female touch!
We get together on a monthly basis (more or less) and just chat about whatever springs to mind. You have a chance to get to know new women almost every time. On special occasions we also organise different gettogethers like a night out dancing (where we tend to invite the men as well), movie night or a baby shower for an expecting mom. The result: Everyone's social life improves with invitations to parties, dinners, movie dates, and just about anything you like doing in your spare time.
So if you are a woman, who would like to meet more women from countries such as Argentina, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, Czech, Ecuador, England, Germany, India, Indonesia, Poland, Portugal Romania, Scotland, Singapore, South Africa, Spain, USA and also Holland – Get in touch! Every woman is most welcome!
