Default Finding a flatshare in Amsterdam

Hi all,
I'm moving to Amsterdam (from New Zealand!) in early September on a working holiday visa and am looking for a flatshare in a good area. Can anyone tell me what the best online resource is for finding a flatshare?

I am familiar with sites like easykamer (easy roommate NL) and craigslist, and I am sure there are many more. I'm more interested in what the popular sites are, particularly for English speakers.

Thanks!

I'm also moving to Amsterdam in September. Would you be interested in renting together?

Alternatively I'm also interested in any recommendations people can give.

As an English speaker you´ve probably got it covered. If you can negociate the Dutch http://www.marktplaats.nl/ will give you more choice.

Yes, same here. I need a flatshare in Amsterdam.

If anyone can point me to some sites other than Clickflatshare and EasyExpats that would be appreciated.

Hi guys,
I have just moved to Amsterdam with only a few days notice. Any advice in finding accom would be greatly appreciated as I will be in a hostel until I find somewhere! If anyone is looking to share i would potentially be up for it. I am 24 year old non smoker starting an initial 3 month internship which could be extended.
Thanks for any help in advance,
Hugo

Hello everyone!, I've just moved to Amsterdam 4-5 months ago and although I love it I'm finding it hard to find friends! so it's a little lonely, I moved here to be with my partner of 4 years and we're now looking for a place to live together as we're currently living with his parents!! (not good) lol...anyway I just wanted to warn you guys that expatriates.com although good there are some people on there who are scamming, so whatever you do don't send money without i dunno meeting them and ensuring it's all official!!...If anyone wants to meet up for a drink or something that'll be great

Hi there and welcome to the forum.

I am sorry to say that is is and old posting, to which no body seems to have returned to.
Are you looking for a flat to share or expats to make contact with?

Hey I'm moving out there next week and am starting to worry about the housing situation! I'm also staying in a hostel for a while until I find somewhere! I need somewhere for 7-10 months I think. Lara I'm going to give you a text once I'm out there and have a phone! I'm finding not speaking Dutch as a major disadvantage in trying to sift through websites!

Hi Lara and Tomoso,
I've just arrived in Amsterdam...am staying in a hotel for a week and I'm hoping I can find somewhere super fast. If you want to meet up/house hunt/consider sharing, please let me know! Until I get a number here, I can be reached at <snip>
Cheers,
Kate
Ps. I am 28, Aussie (but have just spent two years in London), very clean and tidy, and pretty easy to live with.
