Hi all,

I'm going to be moving to the area in August/September as my partner has just had a job offer in Dronten. Not sure where we are going to be based yet zwolle, kampen or dronten, but we will be looking at a two or three month stay with the mother-in-law who lives in zwolle whilst we sort ourselves out.

I am English and my partner is Dutch and we have two little girls, 3 1/2 & 17 months.

I am really looking forward to the move as I love the area.

If anyone would like to meet up with me/us just pm me as I would really love to build up a bit of a social network independent of my partners family (as much as I love them ).

I don't live too far from Zwolle myself. I've lived in this area for some time, and you're right in saying you almost never run into another native English speaker who's not just visiting.

There are a few of us around though. Unfortunately we're hard to find and not well organized socially (unlike expats in the larger cities).

Hi All

How difficult is it to find English expats in Zwolle? I am looking for a English speaking person to proofread my thesis on HR in the next 3-4 weeks. It is around 150 pages. If there is anyone out there that are spending his holidays at home and are keen to help me with that, please let me know. Obviously, it don't need to be free job, and any amounts of coffee could be taken care of.
