Default Amsterdam hotels

Hi there
We've got a 24 hour layover in Amsterdam en route to the US - Anyone have any recommendations on hotels close to the airport that will handle 2 adults and 3 kids (ages 5, 3, 1) in a single room without breaking the bank?
Thanks

I know this place is pretty good. Its in Aalsmeer, which is actually closer to Schiphol than Amsterdam itself.

Hotel Aalsmeer

Don't remember it being dear, and I would recommend visiting the Aalsmeer flower auction if you get the chance. Its something that you will remember for years to come.

Thanks for that - we're actually back in the US now,and re-routed so we didn't have the layover - we plan on doing it next time though, so will hold on to the details.
Cheers
