30% ruling - advice
Hi All,
My move to NL is subject to being eligible for the 30% ruling. I am operating through a recently formed UK limited company and am wondering if I can apply for the 30% reduction myself or should I get a Dutch tax advisor to handle this on my behalf?
I would be looking to make the application prior to moving as confirmation of my eligibility would influence my decision. Does anyone know how long it takes to get a decision/certificate?
Many thanks,

I would highly recommend using a tax service to do this. The Dutch tax service do not work in the English language. They also have more teeth than HMRC with businesses and using a knowledgeable middleman who speaks Dutch might go some way to keeping you and your company off their radar. Mine is just one view, so feel free to ignore it.
I believe that when we moved there was a rule that a Uk Ltd had to be a minimum of 12 months registered to be used here, to avoid those pesky British IT contractors from making a living here but that might be outdated now.
