Yes and no,

(1) As you probably know, the US uses a 110volt power system, the UK uses 230v (give or take). Sony TVs typically work with either voltage (to be sure, there is a small panel on the back of the TV that will give the acceptable voltage range, it ought read "110v ~ 240v").

(2) You will need to remove the US 2 pin power plug and replace it with a UK 3 pin plug.

(3) Now the hard part. The US broadcasts TV signals using the NTSC standard, the UK uses PAL. That means you will NOT be able to connect your TV to an ariel or cable TV wall socket and tune in ITV or BBC or whatever.

(4) Fortunately your TV has a number of HDMI interfaces on it. These are digital and dont use the NTSC or PAL systems, just plain old 1's and 0's. HDMI connected equipment such as a UK DVD player (with a HDMI output) or a PS3 games console or a sattelite set top box ought to work just fine.

As we also have this TV, and would like to take it back to the UK, I would be interested to see if anyone replies who has done this already.
