Belize.

No, Uzbekistan.

...what was the question?

Seriously, do you expect to get meaningful answers to your question? It's so broad, there's no way to even start answering. Do you want price of living comparisons? Quality of living (whatever that is)? Quality of education? Number of art galleries per head of population? Number of brothels per head of population? Average temperature? Average height? Average IQ?...

On second thoughts, I've been far too harsh.

The answer is England.

Does that help?

I agree that this is very broad. You give no details on what you are looking for in climate, population, prices, social services, employment, housing, transportation system, medical, entertainment, etc etc etc

i'm gonna go with health and wealth as being your primary factors.... health care can be bloody costly in the States if you have any pre-existing condition, high chance of getting sick, or are sick right now... but if you're wealthy, that may not worry you....

If you're thinking about later life, then i'd say quality of life is better in the US post-retirement. again, as long as you're finances are in order.

In my opinion (and its just that) its harder to be poor in the States, than in England.

Just a few thoughts

Whichever makes you happiest is the place to live.

Most important thing is what you think. Were you happy in the UK before you came over here? Judging by your previous posts you came over here on a K1 visa to marry a 63 year old man. Has it worked out as you'd hoped?

Canada then Australia then England, then I'll go out on a limb and suggest Florida.

But to be serious, why do you ask? What are your concerns?

How goods your medical cover?

That'll answer your question most likely.

Congrats on your Quincentennial.
Should imagine healthcare is of paramount importance, so suggest England.

I disagree....it's Scotland. If I lived in America I would want to come back to Scotland every weekend.

I'm sorry if this is trite but I've been working down here in London for the past six weeks and will be here until October at the earliest so I'm suffering a wee bit from homesickness, but I admit weekends back home in Scotland are a much easier venture from London than it would be from America I suppose.
