Ok, well just don't complain about poor immigrants messing up your economy!

I think I've proved all my points and that last comment was really pretty retarded.

Thanks for the discussion everyone, I enjoyed it.

I never have you must be talking about other people here.
That's exactly the point; we want some of the poor people
to come here and have a lawful way for them
to do it. The illegal immigrants are not always the poorest.
Some break the law just to get ahead.

retarted news for retarted ideas. We have no obligation
to let you come here.

Thanks for the discussion everyone, I enjoyed it.
sure, have a great year.

you know why it's hard?

Cuz every DAMN time the US relaxes it's imm. laws and restrictions, the illegal mexicans take full advantage of it, and commit all kinds of frauds, and overwhelm the system. And once again, the laws become stricter again and everything tightens up. Why do you think the illegal population has DOUBLED in the past 10 years??? If congress makes ONE tiny change in a gc law, boom there'll be 11 million GC applications tomorrow.

Now you're saying. Why not make two laws, one for england, etc. and one for mexicans. Cuz hispanics have HUGE lobbying forces in Washington and would cry racism.

Therefore, it's much easier to just keep the tight restrictions on everyone. So the poor UK folks suffer to.

So go blame Mexico. Year after year -- the #1 breaker of our immigration laws.

I'm not in any way saying that the laws should be relaxed just for the English. I really don't think most of the average Americans even are aware of the actual laws and regulations.

To what I am regarding is things like the Visa Lottery. I am appalled that year on year we are banned from entering. I agree that there are a lot of English people going there...but in NO way are we a draining on America's resources. We have to prove categorically we are self sufficient financially AND even most of the time have to guarantee another American a job...because our most popular way of getting there is an E2 visa.

Would America take so kindly to it, if we turned round and banned their citizens? Nah I dont think so.

Don't worry about the English. Most of the time we are creating jobs not taking anyone's.

One final point. There have been many amnesties in the past. Which have focussed mainly on these illegal Mexicans etc that you all seem to abhor. Ur immigration laws are a mess. On one hand you're trying to stamp it out....on the other hand you're letting them in by the thousands with your amnesties.

You still don't understand. The US does not mind poor hard working people who obey the law to come here. You see, over here it's ok to be poor and not be "self sufficient financially" as long as you work hard. It's called the "American dream" corny and retarted as it might seem to you, many great Americans
are from those poor families. It's not discrimination because
you have no immigration rights here. You don't pay taxes
or vote. Many Brits come here other ways, and are not treated unfairly based on national origin, no one is. Brits are welcome
here, just not through DV.

You are right I don't understand. I somewhat feel everyone is missing my point.

Nevermind. I'm moving on.

villa,

you're just mad because you don't get any "special treatment", mate. Being British doesn't solve all your problems nor does it give you any exemption of the immigration laws.

Now tell me how difficult it is for an American to settle in the UK. IND wants you to prove that you have at least 250000 Pounds to INVEST in the UK (keyword is INVEST, not just have it). With today's rate it's around $ 425000. It's a joke, right?

This is your problem. You don't look like terrorists. Try darkening up a
bit.
Maybe carry an AK-47, change your name to, oh say, Osama Bin Laden.
When asked about your business in the United States, mention your on
holiday to see your good friend George Bush.
Once in the United States, send for your family.
Oh, and don't let em see your teeth.
Good luck.

That's not the point of the visa lottery ban. Notice it's got
"diversity" in its title. Part of the point is to increase the
diversity of the countries from which immigrants are coming. You don't
achieve this by having more Brits come over!

Enough with racial stuff, It has "darkened" and divided
people long enough and has provided the government with
the tool to infringe on our liberties and the sovereignty
of states to "remedy" it . They keep stiring it up to get you
going. Get out of this trap.
