Talking to my BIL in Perth Australia, that's the place you need to be for vacation time. He always seems to be going on holiday or is on holiday!

I get 28 days per year here in Holland, Europe. That's based on a 40 hour work week.

And you wonder why I am not rushing to work as a nurse in the US 41 day A/l in the UK 9 months Paid mat leave with hoilday accured,then tax back and allowed to stay off a year, need I say more? when I had my mat live I used my hoiday and got tax back for the 2 months I wasn't paid and returned to work 7 days before their 1 st Birthday...oh and I am forgetting sat mat pay I was actually earning more for 3 months, and thay boast a weeks annual leave in CT.... and before anyone says anything the UK isn't recruiting from abroad anymore....USA however...

Did a study at work a while ago comparing benefits across Europe. Spain has the best balance of working hours, holidays and vacations (and weather!)

yeah, this 2 weeks vacation (if you're lucky) over here is wearing a bit thin, I remember grumbling when I joined John Lewis' back in the UK because they only gave you 4 weeks for the 1st year before they started giving you 5 weeks after that!

my mate works for some government agency in London..they monitor the progress of affordable housing projects or something like that...he's only been there a year and already gets 35 days a year holiday!

I'm not going to get laid off...anyway, im on an l1b. If I had to leave my job i'd be on the first plane back to london whether i liked it or not
