We moved to the USA in July 2004 we are British citizens born in the UK,due to family issues in the UK we are looking to move back in the near future. My question is do we need a visa to return to the UK or can we come and go as we please? Any advice would be gratefully received

Do you have a green card yet, and if so when did you get it ??
Might be worth sticking out the remainder of your 5 years to get the passport in case you ever want to come back - now is hardly a great time to move back to the UK, with the dollar in the toilet and UK house prices in the stars.
