Default Vignette Transfer given full length visa instead of 30 days

Hi all,

Have applied for vignette transfer and got the visa yesterday but noticed that instead of new 30 days replacement vignette along with BRP letter, full length visa is provided.

Do I need to submit passport again for correction or ok to travel with this visa ?

Thanks,
Santhi.M

What type of visa did you apply for?

It's Tier 2 ICT visa and it's granted for 2 years

I wouldn’t worry about it then.

Thanks. No need for correction then. I heard generally for vignette transfer entry clearance will be given only for 30 days if it's more than 6 months of stay at UK. Thought whatever I got was an error and need for correction.

What you heard is correct and you can take it up with the Home Office but as it’s an ICT then you’ll likely be leaving by the end of your two year validity period so there won’t be any long term negative consequences. Flag it up with your employer and see what they want to do.

Thanks. Have reached out to British commission through my employer and today submitted my passport for correction based on their advice.

Thanks
