Urgent Help Needed

Dear All one of my friend wants to go to UK with his family to see his younger brother studying there. now the problem is my friend had an Australian student VISA few years ago which was canceled due to breach of condition. and they deported him for that.

He was asking me "should he declare it on his UK application ?"

what are the chances he will be refused?

What are the chances that his family will not get VISA for this?

No idea if they would refuse the visa but I would declare it. Governments share this information freely so they would know about it anyway.
Not declaring it may be cause for refusing it in that they can assume they were trying to hide it and may planning to do the same breach with this visa.

Depending on the nature of the breach and how long ago it was it may not seem so bad if they give an explanation of what happened.

Of course he should declare it. To not do so would be a lie.
