I just thought I would let people know that we returned our dog (jack russell) from Las Vegas (via Newark) to Manchester with United/Petsafe.

We were very pleased with the service and cost. My dog arrived back happy and safe.

I know recently there have been a number of reports of United mistreating animals and pets dying who have traveled with them.

I hope my experience may help when choosing a carrier.

My two 4.5 lbs Chihuahuas travelled Petsafe last Monday arriving 25 hours later with 3 flights to get there. They were in great shape and waggy tailed. I arrived today and picking them up tomorrow. Petsafe was excellent.
