Hi! I have been living in New jersey, usa with my husband for the last 5 years. We have a 3 year old son. I just found out a family member is terminally ill and we want to travel back to the UK to spend time with my family. Back in 2016 my husband was denied entry to the UK through London. (Basically they thought he was coming and wasn’t going to leave). I am trying to get a visitor visa for him but don’t know where to start. Also wondering if I can do it and get a decision ASAP!! Has anyone been down this route or has anyone travelled to the UK without a visa after being denied entry? Thank you in advance for any help!

Which passport does your husband hold? Why did they think he was not a genuine visitor in 2016?

Why do you think he needs a visa? Is there a specific reason (documented or pointing to a specific regulation), or was your husband just told in 2016 "not to come back without a visa"?
