UK Tax....advice needed.
Hi all
I am hoping I can receive some advice.
I moved to Dubai in September 2017 from the UK. I have had a full time job in Dubai with a monthly salary. Before this, I have always lived in the UK, and had full-time employment.
Unfortunately, due to many reasons I want to return to the UK, probably in April 2018.
I need some advice, with regards to the following:
-My current package is split between 'Salary', 'Housing Allowance' & 'General Expenses'. I am aware I will no doubt have to pay tax on what I have earned when I return back to the UK. My question....will the tax only be on my salary, or will all the other parts of the package (i.e., housing allowance & General expenses') be included in the tax?
-How do I work out how much I will have to pay tax?
