My name is Mark i am seeking work in the USA i am a fully qualified refrigeration and air conditioning engineer with 12 years experience.
If anyone on the forum can give me any advice on where to start i would very much apreciate your time and effort.
qualifications
city & guilds Refrigeration and air conditioning
i live in the UK at present and i want to migrate to the USA with my wife and four children

No offense intended.
Back to the more on topic matter of moving, I would recommend exploring Australia and Canada as options. Without family ties to the US, it's going to be near impossible for you.

Quick question Mark are you emloyed or self employed?
There are a couple of options if self employed, or you could look at E2 visa, E2 not advisable with children though.
