Hi all,
I was wondering if any UK folks surfing the group tonight could offer some thoughts on this: I'm just about to send my Checklist to the Embassy, but on it they are asking for Two dates: Date of Travel and Date of Wedding, which i believe they use to schedule your interview. However - my interview would need to be at LEAST 30 days before my Date of Travel as I have to hand notice in to work and all that. I'm posting here because I want to get this filled out tonight before I send it tomorrow and I wanted folks experiences/opinions! Should I send a letter with the checklist stating these facts? I'm sure this is a common occurrence! Thanks for any quick answers! Cheers, Steve |
I would include a cover letter stating why the interview needs to be so long before
the wedding date. Make it short and to the point (because if it's really long they might be less likely to read the whole thing). We've heard rumor that the London Embassy is very cooperative. We've also heard, though, that they're a bit behind right now, so we're hoping for the best. Beth and Shawn, letter and packet 3 sent to Embassy 06/13/01: awaiting interview date. ---------- > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > |
