UK Driving Test

Had to share this. I was looking on the UK-Yankee forum (which seems quite tame and dare I say dull compared to here) looking for tips as we may be repatriating in the not too distant.

I happened across a sarky thread slagging the UK driving test for being hard, not representing driving in the real world and how it should teach you poor lane discipline, parking on the pavement and using your handbrake.

I couldnt resist and had to comment on the laughable nature of the test here - that most americans wouldnt actually know what you meant by lane discpline and that the american test should teach you to be aware of other drivers and not to reverse up hard shoulders. I fear I may not be welcome there any more!

I remember taking my driving test in Phoenix. I went out to the car and right next to it was a chalk outline of a body. I know it was a crappy part of town but still.
