Are you sure you really want to do this? Vehicles made for UK use consume vastly less gas. Gas/petrol is much more expensive in the UK than it is in the US, so using you vehicle will be much, much more expensive. In addition, having a steering wheel on the left can be very disorienting while driving on the left. We have a lovely Acura here, but we won't be taking it with us when we leave for just those reasons....

Yes,I don’t mind paying the extra gas/petrol, I would only mainly driving it on weekends, I collect classic cars, and I want to ship my 73 Mustang Mach 1 to the UK as it has center mental value to me. Also if I ever decided to sell it, they have more value in Europe.
But the main reason was, I would have only owned for about 4 months by the time I come back to the uk, so I was think just ship it two months later under A Tor1, can I do that or I’ll just pay the 30 vat and duty.

The shipping company should be able to store the car for a few months before shipping it across the Atlantic. It's not unusual for people to have their belongings in storage before being sent overseas. Many might now have found permanent housing.

You should check HMRC's fine print though to see if this is allowed.

That’s the thing I can’t find anything really it just says, Have owned and used the goods abroad for at least the last 6 consecutive months. I was thinking go to the uk as planned but only as a tourist, then fly out 2 months later to ship it then come back permanently.
