TOR? Shipping personal items
So I have been back in the UK for years, divorce is now finalised, I have a storage locker, 5ft x 5ft which I am going to go and be brutal and sell or give away as much as I can but I do have lots of personal items, clothes etc that I do want to bring back to the UK.
I am considering using Air Canada Cargo as I think it may be the easier option for me, anyone used them and have an idea of costs and do I need a TOR or anything else I dont know about? Thanks in advance :) |
Re: TOR? Shipping personal items
Yes, you will have to fill in a TOR form or paid a hefty tax fee. Send some boxes of stuff to my son who is now living in Edinburgh and didn't know about the new regulations. Cost about £850 for 5 boxes of personal stuff. He claimed it back but it took a while. There are threads here where it tells you how to fill in the forms for personal effects.
