hi, i am looking for some advice on moving back to the uk from canada, serious coments only please, have not been back there in 8 years, whats it like these days has it changed much, and how easy is it to move back?

You truly cannot expect to receive objective responses as to life in the UK. You don't state to which part you may return. It's easy to move back, there's planes leaving for the UK every day from Canada's major cities.

Have you checked out the "Moving Back to the UK" forum on BE? I'm sure thats a better place to get advice on the subject.;)

Best advice is to go back and visit. It might be what you are looking for in your life, or it might confirm that its no longer home. Worth the cost of the airfare after 8 years.

I wouldnt take just the word of the malcontents who are looking to move away anyway:)
