Default Thiefrow Airport T5

Chuffin British Airways lost my bags at Thiefrow T5 AGAIN

They lost em last time too a few months ago
They lost wifey's pals bags in T5 on her way back from Italy

I know that when T5 opened it lost everyone's bags but it seems it hasnt improved

Flying Northwest/KLM Amsterdam next time - all on one level and bags never lost - so stuff BA

The guy in lost bags at Manchester was drowning under the weight of lost bag customers - on the feedback I suggested BA move all staff including pilots to lost bags dept

Anyone else had T5 probs ?

This was the original story >>>

BA's baggage handlers at LHR are infamous.

Still, at least it's not like a few years ago, when they were (so I heard, Lansbury would likely know more) ripping home address labels off outgoing bags and passing the addresses to their burglar mates.

I was expecting it so I had my thongs / shirt and razors in my hand luggage - but they picked on wifey's bag this time
T5 is a seriously nasty place and I will do everything to avoid it now - even if I have to get to manchester via Kabul
Up and down lifts and escalators and bused between terminals when they change em at the last mo
At least with amsterdam its all on one level and you can walk it...
With T5 Thiefrow it's like being a hamster in a hamster activity apparatus
It's a screaming disgrace as an airport - they should move Kew Gardens there with all the glass and height enough for a giant redwood

They couldnt organize a good time in a brewery

The United States sent $20 million to Russia once. Don't ask why I can't remember the reason. They sent it in 4 boxes via BA. It arrived at T4 and all four boxes, $5 million each, were put on a truck and sent to T1 for the flight to Moscow. Only 3 boxes reached T1.

They never did find the missing one.

They haven't lost them, they have mishandled them.

They become lost when they cannot find where they were mishandled too. That takes a few days.

You have put a letter size piece of paper inside the bag with name and contact number haven't you?

BA = Bags Anywhere

i always remember sitting on the plane once looking out the window. I watched 4 or 5 luggage convoys pass and on EVERY seperate one - at least 2 or 3 suitcases flew off the hoppers when it went around a corner. When our plane moved off from the terminal - I lost count of the suitcases i saw lying strewn on the roadside where these convoys pass.
