Can we just all agree that these people are SO retarded they'll never realize that they are retarded?

And then get back to our regularly scheduled programming.

Last night's Countdown piece on the teabaggers was pretty funny though. In order to have a national day of teabagging they need a dick armey. (Cue rim shot, high hat.)

No, in my town there were people, and quite a few there were, who either are unemployed, don't have to be into work at 8 or just said to hell with it, this is more important and stood there waving their signs and flags.

They are having a tea party down on River Street today in Savannah. It's handy, because afterward they can go to a bar or pub and hoist a few. Not sure what the tourists will think though.

In fairness, this was a small grass roots, libertarian movement but then some old Republicans and Fox tried to highjack it so there is now a mix of grass roots and Astroturf.

Sounds exactly like the gay pride parade. Lots of enthusiasm but not a whole hell of a lot of focus.

No it wasn't. It was entirely created by Fox and the Republicans.

Or those fruitcake WTO/G-whatever protesters? I think they are protesting just for the sake of it.

I once asked a gay friend of mine if he had attended the local gay day parade celebrating gay pride. He said "No, those people are a little too proud..."

I'd like to see something to back that up. Neutral source preferably.

PG, this is the second time you have used the term "Astroturf". I suppose I could check its meaning on urbandictionary.com or encyclopediadramatica.com, but I'd rather hear it from the horse's mouth.

What does it mean?

There are professional paid protesters. Those people outside the abortion clinics make union wages.

I once asked a gay friend of mine if he had attended the local gay day parade celebrating gay pride. He said "No, those people are a little too proud..."
Yeah, my sister only went when she was in her early 20's. Normal people are too busy to be "proud" of how they shag.
