Would you say there was a growth of left wing activity and organization during, and in response to, Bush?

Re: Tea Party
Would you say that an organization, which depends for its existence on certain activity, would need to actually see an increase in such activity in order to claim that there was?

Re: Tea Party
There were stories at the end of the cold war, of US and USSR spooks getting together and manufacturing scares for each other so they could keep their jobs.
It is true though, their job is to identify the shadows in the darkness, and then watch them to see if they move.

The backlash to that report has begun.

Isn't forceable teabagging considered sexual assault?

Re: Tea Party
chartreuse, tut tut! Quoting Fox News?
Never have liked Lamar Smith's brand of politics - but yeah, I'd have to say that someone who loves puppies *is more likely* to be a possible recruit for the Animal Liberation Front than someone who doesn't.

Re: Tea Party
The case stunk from the very beginning. A pair of law students had stood watch at the Foster Farms plant in Kelso, Wash., then followed a truckload of chicken carcasses to a fish processing plant near the mouth of the Columbia River.
There they observed the phantom pipeline, which spewed chicken parts into the air and belched chemically rendered goo into the water.
so it could be worse than tea...
do these guys think they made their point yesterday? I say 'not'. They only attached the teabags with paper clips!!! Not very committed IMO.

Re: Tea Party
At first I thought you were upset at the thought of shooting Hannity, then I figured you were pissed off that he's coming to Texas!
Mine have gone down pretty steadily over the past few years; I have fixed state and federal withholdings (by choice), and my refund keeps going up. I'd happily pay more for the right reasons ...
Next year, not this year .... and only those making over $250k.
yeah, like a trillion dollars spent fighting a dumb war in Iraq. Donald Trump - not a radical Left winger - said on Larry King last night that we went after the wrong guys ...
What bothers me most about this 'Tea Party' shit is the active participation by Hannity et al. I acknowledge that the mainstream media bashed Bush pretty hard, but their main commentators didn't stand up and actually lead protests, like Hannity is doing. I hate those guys (Hannity, O'Reilly, and that utter moron Beck) more than Cheney at this point ....

I think that's where some of the partisanship has come in, the anticpation that they will rise. BUT also could be a dissatifaction with what we're getting or NOT getting for monies spent by Washington, things that NEED to be paid for that have been discussed on here that are not because monies went elsewhere........
....
