Tax on personal goods?

Are any of your personal possessions/goods liable to taxation when moving back to the UK from USA, if that is pertinent to the question....

I've always understood that you don't pay tax on personal (used) goods being moved between countries (certainly did not pay any when I moved from UK to US years ago).

However, these days there seems to be customs charges applied. You can under some circumstances claim these charge back. The following website explains about the ToR1 form you need to complete when moving residences:

When we moved back in 2017 I recall that the ToR stated that if you have owned your possessions for at least 6 months then no import taxes are due.
