Default Taking iPhone from Canada to the UK

My daughter will be moving from Canada to the UK (Edinburgh) for at least 16 months in August. She's wondering what is the best thing to do in terms of a mobile phone plan. I advised her to get her current provider in Canada (Koodo) to unlock her iPhone and that she should sign up for a pre-paid plan in Edinburgh using her unlocked iPhone. Does this sound like the best option?

Default Re: Taking iPhone from Canada to the UK

If she purchased the iPhone after Dec 1, 2017 it should be unlocked by default as all cell phones purchased in Canada after that date are required to be unlocked by law. Other then that, you are spot on.

is she going to study?
