Sub-forum
The topic of creating a sub-forum for the MBTTUK has come up again so we thought we would put it to a poll. Basically, if created, it would be along the lines of "The Barbie", "The Maple Leaf", "The Trailer Park" etc, and would be for off-topic posts so that the main forum can be left clutter free so the discussions about moving back issues don't get lost amongst all the chit-chat.
So vote yes or no. If you vote yes please add you suggestions for what we should name it.

Deffo YES. At least we can vent a bit without being swooped on by Polly with her sweep up broomstick!
I reckon you should call it The Re-pats Club

Having a separate sub-forum gives a place to move posts to if they are not strictly related to moving back, but involve UK issues.
Maybe it should be called Quit yer Bitchin'
The only thing I'd add is that often, the problem isn't with inappropriate threads but threads that start off appropriately then get hijacked/sidetracked. Even if a sub-forum is added, I think the thread-sidetracking trend needs addressing more assertively.

Re: Sub-forum
Start a new section called "Donkey breeders in Poland" and it would still fill up with everything but that ...

Re: Sub-forum
Of late it seems to have become a forum for moaning about Australia, which is probably one of the reasons that has prompted people to ask for a sub-forum. People forget there are expats in countries other than Australia who are planning on moving back. Polly is only doing her job as a mod, and very well she does it too. It's not easy keeping this forum on topic. Plus you can't get away from her that easy, she has volunteered to moderate the new sub-forum if it's created
Thats a good suggestion.

Thanks for that Sue, and as I have already pointed out to the poster concerned - you have probably closed more threads in here than I have!
